What I've been tatting

This angel designed by Martha Ess was a learned experience for me. I've always done split rings with a needle. I finally accomplished one with a shuttle! It also has a split chain... ok i needle tatted that (and the halo) but the rest is shuttle tatted.
What should I do with her? She's five inches tall so she's too big for an ornament. I'm open to suggestions!

When you work full time and keep house you need quick projects.

The Houtz brothers designed this butterfly in light pastels; it's my favorite butterfly. I've made this in bright pastels and ecru as well.

I sell this for 4.50$. You can't get rich on tatting! Shoot, you can't even make a living at it!

This is the ecru.

My great grandmother came from Ireland. Hence the love for all things Irish. Hopefully I'll get there some day. I also make earrings from this. It's a keychain pattern by Christina.

Mark Myers designed this bat. It makes up quick and I think it's different!

The celtic pumpkin is from Rozella Linden.

I make scrapbook flowers with leftover thread. I use them on correspondence and as accents on baby bonnets.

I also use mistake tatting this way!

(Surprise, I'm not perfect!)

This was my project this past weekend. It's a heart perfect for putting around the picture of someone special. ebay item #190017872451

My recommendation is to frame it.

Using pretty paper and complimentary matting and frame, it would make a great Christmas present for that special person who collects angels.

Just a thought.
