The latest

This Christmas medallion offered itself as wings for this angel pin.

A girl can always use another piece of Christmas jewelry.

The wreath is the first of many for giving away in the upcoming holiday season.

A few other medallions I've done.

Old tatting

This is pink. It took MANY hours. I did it while I was living in Jordan and had plenty of time to tat. I'm saving it for a granddaughter.

This doily I call "Tears for Omar"; I tatted it following the death of my son. The rings in it are tear shaped.

This was my first needle-tatted snowflake. It's never going to be hung on a tree, but it does have some sentimental value to me. Maybe they need a before and after comparision at the state fair! That's the only way this flake will get any ribbons or attention. So, please, look at it for 10 seconds!

I don't know if my mother still has my first shuttle tatted snowflakes. They would be like 30 years old.

This weekend's tatting

This adorable little bug I did in one evening. The pattern is by one of my favorite designers from the UK, Jane Eborall. I have him listed on ebay item number 190019577166.

I'm thinking .... I have a whole quart of buttons that need to be bug eyes!

I am, without a doubt, obsessed with pink.

I needed a pincushion for my needles. Here's what I whipped up qucikly.

What I've been tatting

This angel designed by Martha Ess was a learned experience for me. I've always done split rings with a needle. I finally accomplished one with a shuttle! It also has a split chain... ok i needle tatted that (and the halo) but the rest is shuttle tatted.
What should I do with her? She's five inches tall so she's too big for an ornament. I'm open to suggestions!

When you work full time and keep house you need quick projects.

The Houtz brothers designed this butterfly in light pastels; it's my favorite butterfly. I've made this in bright pastels and ecru as well.

I sell this for 4.50$. You can't get rich on tatting! Shoot, you can't even make a living at it!

This is the ecru.

My great grandmother came from Ireland. Hence the love for all things Irish. Hopefully I'll get there some day. I also make earrings from this. It's a keychain pattern by Christina.

Mark Myers designed this bat. It makes up quick and I think it's different!

The celtic pumpkin is from Rozella Linden.

I make scrapbook flowers with leftover thread. I use them on correspondence and as accents on baby bonnets.

I also use mistake tatting this way!

(Surprise, I'm not perfect!)

This was my project this past weekend. It's a heart perfect for putting around the picture of someone special. ebay item #190017872451

I've been crocheting two years.

I learned how to crochet two years ago. Since then, I've made many baby blankets, booties, and bonnets. I've also made dozens of scarves, tissue holders and hats.
